What’s the best thing about living in Yaxley?
Are there enough things for you and your family to do?
Ben Pitt is the new Communities Officer for Hunts Forum, an organisation that supports voluntary and community organisations to help them set up, develop, and grow. He’s working in Yaxley this summer and wants to find out what local residents think of existing services, what they feel is missing and what can be done to fill the gaps. The best ideas always come from local people, which is why he wants to hear from you. Voluntary organisations might include preschool groups, youth clubs, sports and exercise groups, work experience opportunities, support for older people or those with additional needs, community car schemes, book clubs, community choirs, drawing classes, sewing clubs, gardening clubs, coffee mornings and cookery clubs. It includes organisations that support a range of activities, such as a residents’ association, neighbourhood watch scheme or a timebank.
Please visit www.tinyurl.com/yaxleysurvey to complete the survey. It should take about five minutes and can make a big difference to the services and activities available in your community.
You can also pick up a paper copy of the survey at Yaxley Group Practice (Landsdowne Rd, PE7 3JL), and drop off the completed form there too.
